Quintessential England...

...or a walk on the Cotswold Way.

I only did a portion of it but it took me 5 hours! The weather was perfect. Windy, sunny and warm. I hardly saw anyone, which made it even more enjoyable. It was an inspiring walk and a tiring one too...but the breathtaking sights were rewarding. I've had my share of hills for the week!

On the edge of Bath, you can already feel the call of nature...

Charming villages just a stone's throw from Thornbank Gardens!

Gravestone outside All Saints Church, Weston.

Busy squirrel...

Somerset, encore et toujours...

Cows chilling out under the spring sun...

The Cotswold Way gently meanders through the sunny hills of Somerset...

Walking on land full of history.

Cocorico! (or cock-a-doodle-doo, it's up to you).

Playing with my camera, as usual.

Even the signs look nice...

Looking back.

"Beware of low flying golf balls". Sounds like some UFO warning!

Back home, in the sunset.
